The Nitra company VUMZ SK has been known in recent years mainly in the field of waste management. Its key business includes the development, production and installation of industrial devices as well as fully automated technology lines.
They are intended especially for sorting and recovery of different types of waste. So far, about 220,000 tons of plastic waste has been processed on the projects completed, which is about twice the annual production of plastic waste in Slovakia.
It is about 300,000 trucks loaded with waste, which did not end up in a landfill, but managed to evaluate it to other forms.

Although most customers are companies, municipalities and private companies dealing with waste processing or recovery, clients have VUMZ SK in other segments. For example, in automotive, logistics or wood processing.
The company CEO Róbert Procházka, founded in 2005, became the finalist of the prestigious EY Award Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.
